Wheres The Best Place To Go For Senior Week?

Digital Painting: The issue of support and emergences

Draw on a sheet of paper, it merged with a content holder. Working with digital, that is, instead, to separate the two.

This notion of separation may seem minor, it is actually essential to understand the next evolution of artistic content.
This separation frees and opens up creative worlds unexplored, but there is also, for years , many complications related to this principle: the contents can be used in different formats and different media they can be easily copied and downloaded, causing many problems, particularly with regard to copyright.

to digital art, it's the same thing: content is immaterial, created regardless of its final display. It's a real adventure
, because everything is new: the technique, approach, media, everything is research and experimentation, which does not displease to artists who like to take new technologies or new concepts often synonymous with inspiration or emergence of artistic movements. The art history we have consistently shown, for example at the beginning of XX th century with the birth of Surrealism directly linked to the emergence of psychoanalysis.

The effects of this separation are the creation, but also on attitudes: if the work is digital and if you can copy or download, the viewer's approach is different.
The work is weakened in the minds of observers and probably loses some of its value. There is a kind of injustice to the artist whose creation is the same.
The art object is important: it is the support, it is also the work in the eyes of art lovers.
I remember a collector interested in buying a small drawing on epaper, who was frightened by this new medium and asked my dealer if I could redo it on paper. I refused on principle, but also because it could not get the same thing on paper: the art on epaper is a technique in itself.

The key question that we find after performing a digital work is: on which support the show?
The print on paper or canvas to present it on a television screen, computer or on a "picture frame" : opportunities abound.
For any use, I think the media is the most suitable epaper: its appearance and its qualities are well established, it is perfect, even if today is sold in black and white, small size, and mainly for editing.

For use in the field of digital painting, there are two possibilities: as a single work or as a unique vehicle for multiple works.

In the case of "the unique work, simply download the digital painting on the sheet, then cut the cord data transmission. We obtain an original work on epaper (signed and dated on the back), the digital work does not move in time, the epaper is stable.
For multiple works, the field of experimentation is much more important because it may create works whose content is a sequence of images flash one after the other forming the work itself.

can also create a series of paintings that can change depending on their tastes, always on a single sheet of epaper.

With this second possibility the art lover can download very simple paintings or drawings, as you download a piece of music on his iPhone or a book about his Cybook.
This principle opens a new cultural possibility: simple access to works of art in itself.
Buy a painting is an act which is time consuming and expensive, digital technology and the emergence of epaper points to new habits: it is possible to have home support and adapted to change the subject regularly simply, economically.
The color, which will soon come into production, should accelerate the interest of art collectors for this process. The
the mentality does not stop there, because of the resulting digital "participatory" that creates exciting experiences around the interconnection between the viewer and the artist.

Digital media have become important in our lives. A new world
emerges, that of all-digital, revealing how the attitudes and workings of our societies are changing.
Culture and art are already using all these media and broadcast media today have a central and essential, may already be as important as that of paper.

Progressivism's Contributions To Education

Epaper Art Expo

In January last LG Display Sort epaper the largest leaf in the world.
These are prototypes of course, but with the latest technological advances in color, one can imagine that the producers of epaper will not only address the world of reading and the press but soon other actors such as artists.
Without doubt, it will take another few years before we can buy digital paper m² at the local bookshop, but in view of this picture we can see that things are going very fast.

I would like to express through these few lines, how the creation of epaper is a unique technique, which has nothing to do with painting on canvas or watercolor.
is an art in itself and will emerge over the technical support that will move forward.
We here at the beginning of an adventure and creative arts beautiful.

Technological developments already upset many other areas:
Mutation of the press and the world of reading shows how the whole design of a newspaper or a book is evolving.
Readers also begin to change the approach they have the book.
Some writers also experimenting with creative new ways to link this great digital revolution.
One thing is certain: the new media platforms are the trigger and offer viewers the opportunity to be active and participatory same.
Works through participatory epaper? anything is possible and any offers new fields of artistic explorations.
The digital revolution in the field of culture started with the music, continues with the written word and image.

The paper book will not disappear, or paintings on canvas, on the contrary.
We just witnessing the emergence of new forms of media broadcasts that captured the creators, to experiment with the possibilities.

How Do You If U Have Crabs

canvas

The Galerie Olivier Nouvellet Sunday, January 17 will exhibit a series of my latest paintings on canvas and three works on epaper.
For those who still have a little doubt about the quality and future of epaper in the field of art, it's time to come and see.

Also note, the company Bookeen announces the upcoming release of a new reader (the Orizon) which will have WiFi and touchscreen.
It may not look anything like that, but this new format could boost some art projects on epaper in the months to come ... to follow.
